話說PR在去年二月生效. 那時心裡想著:那2012就有機會申請公民.
後來因房屋整新及懷孕.這件事已經被我拋到九霄雲外.直到上個月訂回台機票因護照名字的關係才想到是否有申請澳洲護照的可能
(這得必須申請公民+考試.通過後才有護照可拿阿~) 因我在升格PR後即申請改名把英文名放在我中文名字前+ 夫姓, 假使我想用這名字訂機票前提下是我要有Oz護照.
不然就得依舊使用台灣護照(中文名+Liu )--只是申請的程序趕不上訂購折購機票的時間點.這次只好先以台灣護照訂機票在說!
在我還未搞懂流程前,
小孩子麥的部落格是我參考的依據( 她的部落格真的很有幫助.在我申請配偶簽證的時候也都是參考她的資料.真的非常感激!!)

公民申請:
1.得先確認是否符合申請資格 ---You
must:
- have been living in Australia on a valid Australian visa for four years
immediately before applying which must include the last 12 months as a permanent
resident, and
- not have been absent from Australia for more than one year
in total, in the 4 year period, including no more than 90 days in the year
before applying

填寄申請表格(Form

比起先前填寫過的表格.這個真的簡單多了.唯一需要注意的是其中身分證明部分,需要找一位當地認識你的人幫你作2吋照片比對並在照片背後背書.
所有copy的文件不用到郵局證明與正本同.因只要符合申請資格.移民局會收件並通知在meeting 時帶所有原始文件一併審核!
3. appointment & test.
4. 通過考試後再等通知參加公民宣示.
5. 申請護照
移民局連同考試我跑了4趟.
第一趟去帶了所有文件以為移民局會收卻被櫃台拒絕.得make appointment才能遞件要不就郵寄!
第二趟去遞件卻因文件不齊被打回. 因我以為移民局收件的人可作照片背書所以選擇親自遞件,不料對方說:
我不認識妳無法幫妳.且照片後方的文字得請驗證的人寫不是妳填寫. 得另訂appointment 再遞一次!
第三趟去純遞件+付費$260.
遞件完後當天下午我就收到移民局的信件通知:

Australian citizenship appointment and
test
I am writing regarding your application for Australian citizenship. An
appointment has been made for you, during which we will confirm whether you are
eligible to sit a citizenship test.
The appointment details are:

Please bring:The originals of the identity documents that you submitted with your
application. If you do not bring the required original documents we may not be
able to verify your identity and you will not be able to sit a citizenship test.
If you lodged your application online, you must also bring a completed Form 1195
- Identity declaration, including a correctly endorsed passport sized photo to
your appointment (for all applicants including children). Refer to the attached
document checklist for further guidance.
It is very important you attend
your appointment and bring your original documents with you. If the time does
not suit, please telephone our Citizenship Information Line on 131 880 between
8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday to Friday to make an other appointment. When you
contact us, please quote your Client ID number which is located at the top of
this letter.
If you included children in your application they are not required to
attend this appointment. There are no child care facilities so you will need to
make alternative child care arrangements.
If you require a printed receipt for fees paid, you can request it at
your appointment.
What will happen at your appointment
We will check the original
documents you bring to your appointment against the information and copies of
the documents provided in your application. We will verify your identity,
confirm that your application is valid, and that you are eligible to sit the
citizenship test. If your application is deemed invalid it will be returned to
you.
We authorised under the Australian Citizenship Act 2007 to request a
photograph and signature from you. These are called personal identifiers. We
will take your photo to help verify your identity. The documents and photograph
used to verify your identity will be stored electronically in the department's
computer system.
The citizenship test
The test is computed-based and conducted in English. You will have 45
minutes to complete the test which consists of 20 multiple choice questions. If
you do not complete the test within the time allocated, a result will be given
based on the questions completed.
You will not be able to refer to study aids during the test. You may
speak to the test administrator but you cannot speak to other people during the
test. If you do not follow these rules your test result will be invalid.
If you fail the test you can ask to take the test again. Where
possible, you will be allowed to sit the test again on the same day. Otherwise,
you may make an appointment to sit the test at another time. If you have
difficulty passing the test, we may discuss other options with
you.
How to prepare for the test
The Australian citizenship test questions are based on information
contained in the book called Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond which is
also available on DVD. Please read this book or watch the DVD to prepare for
your citizenship test. You will not be able to refer to this book or DVD when
sitting your test but it will assist you to prepare for the test. You can
obtain a copy of the resource book or DVD, access a practice test and tutorial,
and find additional information about the Australian citizenship test from the
website or by telephoning the Citizenship Information Line on 131 880. The book
is also available in 37 community languages on the department's website at
immi.gov.au.
Processing times
The time taken to process an application varies. As a guide, when all
documents are provided, the application should be finalised within 60 days. When
applications are more complex, when documents are not provided quickly or when
there is doubt about identity, applications may take longer to finalise. You may
discuss the processing time for your application at your
appointment.
Changes to your circumstances
It is important that you tell us about any changes to your
circumstances including your name, contact details, address or children included
in your application as soon as possible. You are required to do this in writing.
Use Form 929 Change of address and/or passport details if you need to advise us
of changes in circumstance.

所以我花了一個多星期趁Molly睡覺的空檔(雖不多)上網練習與準備,由於我付費的網站提供的題庫很簡單且重複性高(同一個問題用不同方式問).後來我乾脆下載指定的考試參考資料閱讀(Australian
Citizenship). 考試部份有三: (我以為整本考,全部看完)
Part 1 – Australia and its people
Part 2 – Australia’s democratic beliefs, rights and liberties
Part 3 – Government and the law in Australia
第四趟: 審核+面試. 面試當天審核完成直接考試.
我只花了5分鐘作答就結束20題電腦試題,100%通過喔!! 題目不難都基本題: 原住民的旗幟/ 澳洲有幾省/領地/ Governo-Gerno的職責/
選舉投票基本/ 宗教信仰(澳洲政府無宗教)/ Australian Day/
第一批到澳洲的人/時/地....這些是我有印象的其他的我考完就忘記了.真的還蠻簡單的!! 現場移民局並無發給我測試通過證明書,只請我等待通知!
其實整個申請過程讓我疑惑的地方是面試/考試的部分.因我以為面試當天是純面試,考試得另訂時間.結果是文件審核無誤就當天馬上考(還有我有準備).
據審核我的職員說.當天其實還有幾個人有面試的但他們都不知要考試只好另訂時間. 我想不再是預約考試然後遞件...因我是遞件然後 審核+考試. Any way,
終於不用再煩惱身分的問題. YATH ! 就等通知然後一次申請三本護照(我自己.Molly &
老公--他的10月到期囉!)
) .但這happy
time在產後就消失了!! 一直覺得產後黃金先生報到的問題是因 1. 半夜哺乳搞亂的生理時鐘; 2.睡眠不足原本早上起床後固定的如廁時間變成我補眠的時間;
3.也許是坐月子期間吃了太多的薑與麻油燥熱造成腸子蠕動不易且攝取過少蔬果....然月子後.我增加了蔬果/纖維的攝取量.便秘已經不是問題. 但每到bowel
movement時間就讓我痛不欲生.感覺是吃了十鍋麻辣鍋後屁股開花的痛感. 讓我不敢用力也害怕排便.
) 老公聽到我要買.一臉

想到廚房好像也沒多餘的地方可以擺還是讓我敗了
~心裡想著少油帶來的健康利益與少量煮的便利性對小家庭的我們很適合.
而且我們還蠻喜歡吃chips & wedges.
有了它我就不用動用大烤爐(電費貴森森)就只烘那一點點的食物....
) 對我而言這台就是小型炫風式烤箱--fan
force function of oven. 往後可以試試不同的烘烤料理. anyway, 希望愈用愈上手!
